Gemeinsam mit dem Musiker Hilary Jeffery erforscht sie, wie Wort- und Musikklang „einander berühren, wie sie einander belauschen, aufeinander reagieren, während sie immerfort ihre Form verändern und neuen Sinn stiften, Resonanzen erzeugen, obwohl sie im Grunde ihrer Beschaffenheit gleichbleiben.“

"Dieses Libretto ist ein offenes Werk und daher ein Werk der Poesie. Darin ist etwas gedruckt, etwas ist ausgelassen. Die Inhalte folgen keiner Handlung. Sie entstammen verschiedenen, mehr oder weniger weit zurückliegenden Zeitabschnitten und haben Beobachtungen, Reflexionen, Meditationen zum Gegenstand, die mich immer wieder aufs Neue fesseln: Erfahrung der Wirklichkeit, des Träumens, Metamorphosen der Erinnerungen, Gleichzeitigkeit der Perspektiven, Vermischung, Konnektivität.
'Anamesa' ist Teil meiner genreübergreifenden, interdisziplinären Werkreihe rund um Sprachkompositionen. Der Inhalt erschließt sich aus drei Perspektiven: Dem Prolog und Epilog, dem Anfang und Ende, die auf das Hörstück 'Heimatgefühle' (Deutschlandfunk Kultur, 2021) zurückzuführen sind. Dem Hauptteil, 'Anamesa' (aus dem Griechischen: 'dazwischen'), der sich aus siebenundsiebzig Akten zusammensetzt. Sie können als Module in beliebiger Reihenfolge miteinander kombiniert werden und dienen als Vorlage für das gleichnamige Radiostück (Deutschlandfunk Kultur, 2023). Vor allem jedoch erschließt sich der Inhalt aus dem Austausch, aus der Beziehung zwischen Werk und Leser. Erst der Leser / die Leserin vollendet das Werk. Schließlich, also, geht es hier um Dich."

"This libretto is a work in progress and therefore a work of poetry. Something is printed in it, something is left out. The contents do not follow a plot. They come from different, more or less distant periods of time and have as their subject observations, reflections, meditations, new experiences of reality, dreams, metamorphoses of memories and perspectives that blend, overlap, connect.
'Anamesa' is part of my cross-genre, interdisciplinary language compositions. The content opens up from three perspectives: The prologue and epilogue, the beginning, and the end, all of which can be traced back to the radio play 'Heimatgefühle' (Deutschlandfunk Kultur, 2021). The main part, 'Anamesa' (from the Greek: 'in between'), is composed of seventy- seven acts. The acts can be combined as modules in any order and serve as a template for the radio piece of the same name (Deutschlandfunk Kultur, 2023). Above all, however, the content is revealed through exchange, through the relationship between the work and the reader. Only the reader completes the work. Finally, then, it is about you."
